How to Play the Game

Mahjong Solitaire is a fun puzzle game. When you start the game you will be able to choose from 10 different game layouts. Each layout will include one or more groups of blocks stacked into pyramids of 3 to 5 levels. Once you choose your layout the game will load.

The object of the game is to match tiles. Most matches are made by selecting tiles with the exact same image on them. However any season will match with any other season and any fruit will match with any other fruit. Your task is to clear as many blocks off the screen as you can. The trick to a mahjong puzzle game is that you can only select a block that is not blocked from the top, or on the left and right side. Here is a good tip, try finding matching blocks from the top of the pyramid first, so you can uncover more blocks as you play.

Game Scoring

In order for your game score to be counted, make sure that you're logged in to your ChevronCars.com account before launching the game. You will start the game with a score of 0 points and the timer at zero. Each time you match a pair of blocks, 10 points will be added to your score. The object of the game is to clear as many blocks as possible. The game will end when you either run out of possible matches or you have cleared all the blocks. Use the HINT button if you get stuck, but be aware that you will lose 10 points each time you use the hint button.
